Day 109: “Lemon Cheesecake”, acrylic on stretched canvas, 8x8”. A slice of lemon cheesecake I made last week. I painted the base layers with a brush and then went in with the palette knife doe more texture.

This is part of my year long project, "This sweet simple existence". During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life. This painting will be signed, varnished and ready to hang.
