Day 52: "Heathcliff", watercolor on mixed media paper, 8.5x5.5". “Wuthering Heights” is one of my favorite novels. Often touted as a romance, it is actually a gothic novel. This watercolor illustration of Heathcliff walking away was done in a loose dynamic style using soft washes for the sky and the ground and then heavier pigment for the details. Art prints will be made from the original sketches and will be available for purchase. The art print will be printed on high quality archival paper in standard A4 size (8.5×11.5), it will be unframed and borderless. Different sizes will be priced differently. Please send me an email if you want a different custom size. It will be signed in the back, numbered according to the date it was created (for example: 1/365, 2/365 etc..) packaged in a protective sleeve and shipped carefully.
This is part of my 2026 year long project, called "This sweet simple existence." During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life.
