Day 97: "Lemons for a Cold", water mixable oil on canvas panel, 8x8”. My daughter was sick for a few days with a bad cold. So I cut up a lot of big, juicy bright yellow lemons for a strong dose of vitamin C lemonade.

This is part of my 2026 year long project, called "This sweet simple existence." During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life. This painting will be signed, varnished and ready to hang.
