Day 36: "Lemons in Light", gouache on watercolor paper, 8.5 × 5.5”. For February and March, I will be working with mostly watercolor, gouache and charcoal and pastels, mostly sketches done on watercolor sketchbook paper. These are only available as art prints, since the original is made on non-detachable sketchbook paper.

This is part of my 2026 year long project, called "This sweet simple existence." During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life.
