"New Year's Day Pancakes", still life artwork, original oil on canvas, 8 x 6". This is the first of many paintings, part of a year long project, called "This sweet simple existence" where I will document a year in my life by painting every day objects: food, still life, objects around the house, landscapes and perhaps some portraits etc. This painting was done with water mixable oils in a loose, impressionist style, and is based on a composite of images: my own reference image and royalty free image by NIKLDN on Unsplash. The painting will be signed, varnished and ready for hanging.
Keep in mind that all computer monitors display color differently, so your painting may differ slightly in color from the image you see onscreen.
Artwork will be carefully packaged using bubble wrap and cardboard and shipped as fragile item for further protection. Please note that if artwork is being shipped overseas (outside of Canada), there is a chance that it might be kept in customs for a couple of weeks. However, this is a risk with any artwork shipped overseas from Canada and should not pose a problem
