Day 59: “Ultra Swim”, wax pastels on mixed media paper, 8.5x5.5”. This chlorine removal shampoo/conditioner set was a life saver for my hair. I even had people comment on how soft my hair was considering I was swimming 3 times a week at one point! This is part of my swimming series. I’m an avid swimmer, but I haven’t been swimming in a while. This is my attempt to get back into it again.

This is part of my 2026 year long project, called "This sweet simple existence." During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life.
