Original Painting Acrylic on Canvas Seascape Night Scene Coastal Wall Art "Hawaiian Moontide" 12' x 12"
This is part of the “Coasts of North America” collection, where I depict some coastal scenes in the United States and Canada. For this final piece in the collection, I wanted to do a night scene, and what better nightscape over the ocean exists than in Hawaii which has some spectacular moon over the ocean moments. This was done with a VERY limited palette (literally just 3 colors) since it is pretty much a monochromatic scene. I kept the composition very simple because I wanted to focus mostly on the reflection of moonlight on the water.
The sides of canvas are painted using the same color palette as the painting. The artwork is signed and dated on the back. It is varnished and will arrive ready to hang.
Keep in mind that all computer monitors display color differently, so your painting may differ slightly in color from the image you see onscreen.
Artwork will be carefully packaged using bubble wrap and cardboard and shipped as fragile item for further protection. Please note that if artwork is being shipped overseas (outside of Canada), there is a chance that it might be kept in customs for a couple of weeks. However, this is a risk with any artwork shipped overseas from Canada and should not pose a problem.
