This is part of the “Southwest” collection, where I depict some scenes in Southwest USA. I’ve always admired the almost other worldly, almost alien beauty of the desert landscapes of Southwestern USA, like the Saguaro National Park in Arizona with its strange flora, species of plants that exist no where else in the world. For this first piece in the collection, I wanted to highlight these majestic cactus plants, which I’ve heard are larger and stranger in real life. The painting was done with a backdrop of mountains and a landscape from which the saguaros arise.
The print will be unframed and borderless. All sizes are in inches.

10×10” and 12”x12” prints will be sent flat supported by cardboard backs, to prevent bending, wrapped in in acid free tissue paper and shipped in a plastic sleeve. Prints larger than 12×12” will be rolled and carefully shipped in a durable tube to prevent creasing.
