Day 80: “NYC white chocolate cookies”, Watercolor on paper, 9x12”. I forgot to get Eid sweets this year so on the first day of Eid, my daughter and her friend made NYC style white chocolate cookies. Well, I made them and they kept me company in the kitchen and watched. They turned out 😋 🧑🏽🍳 😘.

This is part of my 2026 year long project, "This sweet simple existence". During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life.
