Day 60: “Coffee Dreams”, wax pastels on cold pressed, heavy weight, watercolor paper, 9x12”. Fasting induced sleep deprivation has me hallucinating about coffee lately. I’m counting the days till I can wake up at a normal hour and have my cuppa while the sun is out. This is part of my 2026 year long project, "This sweet simple existence". During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life.
