Day 61/365: “Dutch Oven”, wax pastels on cold pressed, heavy weight watercolor paper, 9x12”. I love my Dutch oven. It’s a lovely pop of color in my kitchen. When I’m not cooking with it I use it as a bread storage container for my sourdough bread. The original artwork and art prints will be available for purchase.
The art print will be printed on high quality archival paper in standard sizes (8.5×11.5) with borders to allow for matting and framing. It will be signed in the back, packaged in a protective sleeve and shipped carefully.
This is part of my 2026 year long project, "This sweet simple existence". During this year of living creatively, I will create small artworks everyday based around objects from my daily life, (mostly food, household items, perhaps the view from my window etc). thereby simply documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary joys of a simple life.
